ABOUT MADANES LAW
Founded by Tal S. Madanes, Esq. in 2012, Madanes Law is a multi-state practice with locations in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Park City, UT. Madanes Law supports early-stage startups and small businesses as they navigate corporate and business law issues, ranging from transactional matters to litigation, and is experienced working on Real Estate matters, both commercial and residential.

Madanes Law empowers entrepreneurs, founders, and established business owners to focus on conducting business by developing a sustainable legal roadmap and navigating legal risks. The practice is experienced with corporate formation, partnership and LLC agreements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and fundraising, independent contractor and employee agreements as well general contract issues and negotiations. In total Madanes Law has participated in business transactions worth over $30M.

In addition, Madanes Law provides legal support to Real Estate Developers, Investors, Landlords and Tenants with experience in commercial and residential landlord-tenant agreements, and has extensive experience helping property owners manage legal risks of ownership, including ownership structures to limit personal liability. Madanes Law can also advocate for and negotiate with insurance companies for clients with denied property insurance claims. With a track record of successful insurance negotiation, Madanes Law will take the stress out of dealing with insurance companies by negotiating on behalf of clients, keeping clients fully informed at all times, and providing legal advice at every step of the process.

For litigation, Madanes Law represents clients in California, Illinois, and Utah in various business litigation matters, including cases related to LLC management, breach of contract, commercial and residential landlord-tenant issues, labor and employment litigation, insurance litigation and misappropriation.
ABOUT TAL MADANES
​
Tal S. Madanes, Esq. graduated Pepperdine University School of Law after pursuing an undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Supplementing his law degree, Tal earned a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Strauss Institute, the #1 rated dispute resolution school in the United States.
At Pepperdine, Tal developed a passion for litigation. He clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, which provided the singular opportunity to gain court room experience while still in school. Tal also had the opportunity to work in chambers for the Honorable Judge Clark Waddoups in the Federal District Court for the District of Utah. Working in Judge Waddoups' chambers provided exceptional insight into the functioning and thought process of courts and judges. Tal now represents clients in California, Illinois and Utah courts and has taken on both large and small law firms.

Entrepreneurially minded, after graduating law school, Tal founded Madanes Law. Synergizing his passion for business and law, Tal focuses on assisting entrepreneurs, partners and sole-proprietors in developing a sustainable legal strategy for corporate formation, finance, and fundraising. Tal's litigation experience provides unique insight in his business transactional work for clients.
